Details of the New Taps


At vivo! BEER+DININGBAR, a beer pub at Ikebukuro East Exit, three new beers have been tapped. The bar has 20 draft beers on tap, and through 5/5 during the holiday period it is open every day from 15:00 to 22:00. It's easy to drop in from the afternoon, and the lineup is well suited to people who want to compare different beers.

The highlight this time is Ise Kadoya Beer’s 'Imperial Red Ale.' It is introduced as a red ale with a fruity aroma, solid body, and a tight, crisp bitterness. Also on tap is Mugi Zakkoku Kobo Microbrewery’s 'Rustic Saison,' a rustic saison with a pronounced grainy character from rye. In addition, an Imperial Stout that offers a smooth mouthfeel despite its high alcohol content and a rich lingering finish has been tapped, so you can compare three beers with very different directions: red, saison, and dark high-alcohol styles.

Looking at the draft lineup, there are two vivo! x CYCAD BREWING collaboration beers, a Hazy Pale Ale from vivo! x Inkhorn Brewing, Inkhorn Brewing's Hazy Double IPA, Kampai! Brewing's IPA and fruit lager, Minoh Beer, Nanshuu Beer, Moriyamaen cider, Guinness, and Heartland, covering a wide range. The food menu includes chicken breast ham, German potato salad, Spanish-style omelet, oysters and okra in oil, and clam aglio e olio, making it easy to choose a dish that pairs with your beer. It's a convenient place in Ikebukuro when you want to follow both the classics and the new releases at once.
