North Island Beer to appear at Ebetsu Tsutaya Books and Jasmac Plaza on Aug. 1-2
North Island Beer will take part in two events on August 1 and 2: EBETSU BEER TERRACE 2026 at Ebetsu Tsutaya Books and Machiiro Marche at Jasmac Plaza. The Ebetsu venue will also sell canned beer alongside draft beer.
Two venues over one weekend
North Island Beer, the Hokkaido brewery based in Ebetsu, will appear at two events on August 1 and 2. The first is EBETSU BEER TERRACE 2026 at Ebetsu Tsutaya Books. According to the brewery's post, the venue will offer draft beer as well as canned beer, with hours planned from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day.
The second stop is Machiiro Marche at Jasmac Plaza. By participating in both events over the same weekend, the brewery will be serving beer in two different settings at once, giving drinkers a chance to encounter the brand in both Ebetsu and Sapporo.
North Island Beer has been brewing in Hokkaido since 2003 and moved its base to Ebetsu in 2009. Its official site highlights beers made with local ingredients, including a weizen brewed with Ebetsu wheat and limited releases using Hokkaido hops. The weekend brings those beers into two very different spaces: a bookstore venue and a market-style event.
