Mugibaru in Kamata Serves Six Beers from Hokkaido to Shizuoka
Beer pub Mugibaru in Nishi-Kamata, Tokyo, has announced a six-beer lineup featuring breweries from Hokkaido, Shizuoka, Saitama, Aichi, and beyond. The selection ranges from juicy IPAs to a golden ale, session IPA, and pilsner.
Mugibaru’s Current Beer Selection
Mugibaru, a beer pub in Nishi-Kamata, Ota-ku, Tokyo, is serving a varied lineup of beers from Japanese breweries.
Two beers come from Hokkaido. NORTH ISLAND BEER’s “Lush Line” is a 6.5% juicy IPA, offering a hop-forward option with a fuller impression. Hop Kotan’s “epitta -Sorachi Ace IPA-” is a 7% American IPA brewed with Sorachi Ace, a hop variety closely associated with Hokkaido.
From Shizuoka, Hansharo Beer contributes “Nbanana! Honey Golden Ale,” a 5% golden ale whose name suggests banana-like and honeyed nuances. COEDO’s “Marihana” from Saitama is a 4.5% session IPA, making it a lighter choice for food pairing or an easy second pint.
The selection also includes Asahi’s “Jukusen,” a 5.5% pilsner. Its inclusion gives guests a crisp lager option alongside the more hop-driven craft beers.
Mugibaru has also listed Y Market Brewing’s “Hysteric IPA” as the next beer to arrive. The 7% American IPA from Aichi should appeal to drinkers looking for a stronger hop presence.
With food, beer, and a dog-friendly atmosphere, Mugibaru offers a relaxed setting for exploring different Japanese beer styles in the Kamata area. Guests can choose a beer from the day’s selection and enjoy it with the pub’s food menu.
