Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba is hosting the “Gastronomy Plan: Tokushima Fair,” a dining event focused on the food culture and ingredients of Tokushima Prefecture. The menus are available at Teppanyaki Ginza and The Grill on 30th on the 30th floor, as well as Chinese Restaurant To-Li on the second floor.

The hotel’s chefs visited Tokushima and connected with local producers before developing dishes featuring ingredients such as Awa-Odori chicken, Awa beef, and Naruto sea bream. Regional flavors and culinary traditions are interpreted through the distinct techniques of each restaurant.

The fair also offers Tokushima sake and craft beer selected to complement the cuisine. Kamiyama Beer Brewery brings the character of Kamiyama, a mountain town in Tokushima, into this urban dining experience in Tokyo.

Founded in 2018 by Manus, originally from Ireland, and Sayaka from Japan, Kamiyama Beer combines international beer styles with local ingredients and inspiration from the town’s natural environment. The brewery’s story began through the founders’ connection with Kamiyama’s artist residency and their eventual decision to settle there.

Kamiyama Beer is brewed in small tanks and is unfiltered and unpasteurized, with natural carbonation developed through secondary fermentation in bottles or kegs. Its beers include SHIWASHIWA ALE, made with locally grown Kamiyama wheat, and DAYDREAMER, an IPA accented with sudachi juice from the brewery garden.

For beer lovers, the Tokushima Fair offers an opportunity to explore how regional cuisine and craft beer can express the same sense of place. A meal at Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba may provide a taste of Tokushima’s landscapes and food culture, with Kamiyama Beer adding another layer of local identity to the experience.
