Roamers in Ayagawa, Kagawa, will hold the first installment of its planned event series on Saturday, July 25. Titled "Featuring KAMIYAMA BEER at Roamers," the event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with the closing time subject to extension depending on the situation. The venue is inside Roamers, and the post also notes that parking is limited, so access by train from Sumi Station is possible.

The featured brewery is KAMIYAMA BEER, based in Kamiyama, Tokushima. Founded in July 2018 by Manus Sweeney and Sayaka Abe after their move from Amsterdam to the mountain town, the brewery focuses on beer that reflects Kamiyama’s local character and ingredients. Its official site describes the beers as small-batch, handmade, unfiltered, unpasteurized, and naturally carbonated.

According to Roamers’ Instagram post, the concept of the day is simple: enjoy craft beer in the heat of summer. KAMIYAMA BEER will be served on tap, while Roamers plans to offer burgers and a variety of snacks. The lineup also includes apron sales from Ritawaco, a tip-jar ukulele live performance by Ukulele Kiichi, and DJ sets from FUJITA, Kiichi, Manus, and Roamers. It is a compact event that brings together beer, food, music, and local makers in one place.

KAMIYAMA BEER is celebrating its 8th anniversary this July, making this event a timely stop for beer fans looking to taste a brewery that has grown from a mountain town community project into a recognized local name.
