BEER BAR "Awatachi," near Fukui Station, will hold a three-day event called "Oden and Beer" from May 29 to 31. The owner compiled the results of surveys from 37 people and adopted the top three as the oden ingredients for the day. In the post, it was revealed that the No. 1 choice was "daikon" and No. 2 was "egg," while the No. 3 choice was left hidden as a surprise for the day itself.

This time, the oden will be served as a four-item assortment reflecting the voting results. Other leading candidates included "chikuwa," "shiro hanpen," "brown hanpen," and "konnyaku," while the owner’s favorite, "mochikinchaku," came in fourth. In addition, a ranking of so-called "offbeat" oden ingredients was also compiled, creating a lineup that mixes classics with unexpected twists, such as "carrot" and "stuffed cabbage rolls."

The business hours are Friday the 29th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday the 30th from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sunday the 31st from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. On Saturday, May 30, the bar will also take part in the 24th anniversary event of the nearby Okinawan restaurant "Minamikaze," and plans to serve beer from the Okinawan brewery "MAHOW." The shop on Chuo 1-chome in Fukui City is known as a beer pub where people can casually enjoy craft beer while standing, and this time it will offer a weekend-style drink alongside oden.
