BEER BAR Awatachi in central Fukui will host a three-day 5th-anniversary event from July 31 to August 2. In the announcement post, the bar says it will run a Yellow Monkey Brewing tap takeover and release its anniversary beer, “Gokigen.” Awatachi is known as a standing-friendly beer pub that rotates craft beers from around Japan, so the event matches the bar’s everyday identity.

The schedule is July 31 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., August 1 from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and August 2 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Anniversary stickers, limited glasses, and a small batch of related merch are also planned, giving the celebration a clear anniversary feel across all three days.

On the food side, Awatachi will stage an in-house yakitori festival. According to the post, the bar bought a new yakitori grill and prepared 200 skewers. Skewers will be sold in sets of five, with tare or salt available. For beer lovers, the draw is simple: a brewery takeover, a named anniversary beer, and yakitori built to pair with the taps.
