Uchu Brewing (Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture) announced the release of its new product “Uchu PARADISE” on Instagram. The beer style is sour ale, with Smoothie / Pastry elements. It has an alcohol content of 5%, and combines mango juice, peach juice, passion fruit juice, guava juice, and lemon juice with agave syrup and coconut cream.

According to the official description, the beer is inspired by a “paradise drink” served in the pool area of “Uchu Deluxe,” a luxury resort at the edge of the galaxy. It is designed around the tart sweetness of fruit layered with the creaminess of coconut, making it very different in direction from beers centered on the bitterness of hops.

Uchu Brewing is a brewery known for space-themed naming and for expressions that incorporate fruit juice and dairy-based ingredients. This new “Uchu PARADISE” release is another clear example of that worldview. Refrigerated storage is recommended, and it is a beer best enjoyed thoroughly chilled.
