The Grafton Beer Pub & Restaurant (Ito Building Part 3 B1F, 2-26-5 Nishi-Gotanda, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo) updated its tap information for the day in a post at 17:17 on Thursday, March 19. The highlight this time was the tapping of FARM&CIDERY KANESHIGE's "HOPHEAD", announced as a guest draft cider.

In its post, the shop invited customers in as it was "the Thursday before a three-day weekend." In true Irish pub fashion, the taps center on international staples such as Guinness, Heineken, Hoegaarden, and Magners Cider, while also featuring a strong lineup of domestic craft beers. Alongside Sankt Gallen's "YOKOHAMA XPA Real Ale," Ikari Brewing's "Irish Red" and "Best Bitter Real Ale," and COEDO Brewery's "Marihana," the list also includes Kakegawa Beer Company's "Dank Hop IPA," Uchu Brewing's "MARS," and Hansharo Bia's "New World Kolsh," making for a lineup with a very wide stylistic range.

In the British-style vein, Belhaven's "TWISTED THISTLE IPA" and Black Sheep's "MILK STOUT" are also on tap. The day's appeal lies in being able to compare a hop-forward IPA, a malty red ale, a roast-driven stout, and cider all in one place.

The food menu leans toward beer-friendly dishes such as oysters, fisherman's pie, and rigatoni with gorgonzola sauce. In a basement space near Gotanda Station, it is the kind of day that makes it easy to go from a quick drink after work to a full meal, very much in keeping with the pub's style.
