Osaka Shibutani Bakushu sells bottled beer at Tokyo Metropolitan Government fair
Osaka Shibutani Bakushu, a brewery based in Fujidera, Osaka, is selling bottled beer at the “Osaka Marukajiri Fair” inside the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. The event runs on June 22 and 23 at the National Tourism PR Corner on the first floor of the Main Building.
Osaka Shibutani Bakushu is taking part in the “Osaka Marukajiri Fair” currently being held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and is selling bottled beer there. In its Instagram post, the brewery invited Tokyo residents to stop by. The venue is the National Tourism PR Corner on the south side of the first floor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Main Building, with hours listed as 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on June 22 and 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on June 23.
Based in Fujidera, Osaka, Osaka Shibutani Bakushu began brewing in spring 2022. The brewery presents itself as carrying forward Osaka’s beer heritage while focusing on craft beer made with local Minami-Kawachi ingredients. Its flagship “Kawachino Ale” is known for using regional produce such as thinned Taiyo mandarin oranges.
The Tokyo sale gives visitors a chance to discover the brewery’s bottled beer within an event showcasing Osaka products.
