Doppo Beer at Oedo Beer Festival 2026 Autumn

Miyashita Shuzo's Doppo Beer will be featured at Oedo Beer Festival 2026 Autumn, held at the Shinagawa Intercity S&R plaza from September 1 to 12. The event runs in two sessions, September 1-5 and September 8-12, bringing breweries from across Japan to central Tokyo. With free admission and a cash-on-delivery style service, it is set up for easy tasting and side-by-side comparisons.

Based in Okayama City, Miyashita Shuzo is a broad liquor producer that handles sake, craft beer, shochu, and liqueurs. Its beer lineup centers on two brands: Doppo and Kurashiki Beer. According to the brewery, Doppo is a bottom-fermented beer brewed with malt, hops, and yeast selected from Germany, produced under the technical guidance of a brewmaster. It is closely associated with Okayama's climate and water.

The brand is also known for using live yeast, which makes freshness an important part of the drinking experience. That gives Doppo a clear identity within Miyashita Shuzo's range, from familiar pilsner-style beers to more aromatic expressions.

Oedo Beer Festival has long been valued for the chance to speak directly with brewers and importers while enjoying food alongside beer. For fans of Japanese craft beer, Miyashita Shuzo's appearance adds a recognizable Okayama name to one of Tokyo's major seasonal beer gatherings.
