Miyashita Sake Brewery has announced on Instagram that it will participate in the Autumn Okayama Momotaro Festival 2026.
The festival will be held on October 10 and 11, 2026, from 10:00 to 17:00 around Okayama Castle. The event centers on local food, traditional performing arts, and regional history. Its program includes food stalls and food trucks, local performing arts, comedy, Uraja dance performances, and activities for children. The concurrent “Gather at Okayama Castle” program will add demonstrations by the Bizen Okayama Castle Rifle Corps, a samurai procession, and performances by samurai groups from several regions.
Based in Okayama City, Miyashita Sake Brewery produces the Doppio and Kurashiki Bakushu craft beer brands. Its official beer lineup includes bottom-fermented lagers, top-fermented ales, and an IPA brewed with Omachi rice, a variety closely associated with Okayama. Some Doppio beers contain live yeast and are recommended to be kept refrigerated for quality control.
For beer enthusiasts, the brewery’s participation offers a chance to pair local cuisine with beers from an Okayama producer while exploring the castle grounds and the festival’s cultural program. Admission to the event is free, although some activities require payment. Details about the brewery’s booth and available beers should be checked through its official announcements before visiting.
