craft beer Extra Hop taps Nomcraft Brewing and three more guest beers
On June 25, the beer pub craft beer Extra Hop in Oita's Chuo-machi announced a fresh round of taps after a four-day break. The update features beers from Nomcraft Brewing, Y.MARKET BREWING, Falò Brewing, and Moriyamaen, with three more beers nearing the end of the line.
In a June 25 Instagram post, craft beer Extra Hop in Oita City's Chuo-machi said it was returning from about four days off with a refreshed tap lineup. The beer pub at Okuno Hosomichi Building 1F is the kind of place where rotating guest beers are part of the appeal. The post also mentions a limited serving of pork vindaloo.
The new taps are:
- Nomcraft Brewing / 7th Revolution
- Y.MARKET BREWING / Epoch
- Falò Brewing / Opheria
- Moriyamaen / Teki Kaka Cider
Nomcraft's 7th Revolution is described as an anniversary West Coast IPA with a fresh aroma driven by Nuvo hops. Y.MARKET's Epoch is a pale ale brewed with four kinds of Cascade hops, including some grown in-house. Falò's Opheria is a sour ale made with lemon and vanilla, while Moriyamaen's Teki Kaka Cider is a house staple cider.
Also nearing the end are HakatAozora's English Pale Ale, CRAFT BEER BASE Pilsner, and SOCIETE's limited IPA. The lineup moves from bright IPA character to lighter pale ale and cider, making it a good fit for the humid season and a solid stop for an after-work pint.
