Beer pub craft beer “Extra Hop” in Chuo-machi, Oita City, has announced two newly tapped beers.

The first is New Zealand Pale Ale from Osaka-based CRAFT BEER BASE. Described as a light pale ale with aromas from New Zealand hops, it offers a bright and approachable option for a post-work pint.

The second is OCHA! LONGJING from Nara-based FARMENTRY. This wheat ale is brewed with Chinese Longjing tea and is described as soft and gentle on the palate. According to the announcement, the tea character becomes more pronounced as the beer warms, making it a beer worth following from the first sip to the final pour.

Located on the first floor of Okuno Hosomichi Building in central Oita, Extra Hop is a beer pub focused on a rotating craft beer selection. The pub is also working with Czech-made taps, adding a practical point of interest for beer fans who enjoy seeing how different serving systems shape the drinking experience.

The post also notes that, from September onward, bar service will temporarily operate from Wednesday through Saturday. Guests planning a visit should check the latest opening information before stopping by, then compare the hop-forward pale ale with the tea-accented wheat ale.
