Sakamichi Brewing has announced the lineup for an IPA contest at its Tachikawa taproom starting Friday, June 19. The post splits the beers into two groups, "USA" and "Japan," for a total of eight entries.

The brewery describes itself on its official site as a Tachikawa craft brewery that values the process as much as the result. It also says it works to incorporate eco-minded brewing practices and, whenever possible, locally sourced organic ingredients. That approach fits a taproom program that ranges from classic styles to more contemporary expressions.

USA

- Trap Door Brewing, "Glowed Up" / Hazy IPA / 6.5%
- Ruse Brewing, "Brain Glow" / Hazy IPA / 7.2%
- Hop Butcher for the World (WCB collaboration), "Finger Food" / WC IPA / 7.0%

The lineup offers a clear side-by-side look at how different breweries interpret IPA. With Hazy, West Coast, and Cold IPA styles all represented, the contest should give drinkers a straightforward way to compare aroma, bitterness, body, and hop expression across regions.
