Fukui City brewery OUR BREWING has unveiled its new beer, Starmine. Brewed as a Hazy IPA, the release is designed to deliver tropical aromatics reminiscent of peach, coconut, orange, and mango, alongside a smooth, silky texture created with hop oil and oat malt.
The label takes its cue from summer fireworks. The name "Starmine" refers to a rapid-fire style of firework display, and the brewery ties that image to a beer whose aroma is meant to unfold in layers. According to the brewery, the recipe keeps dry hopping relatively restrained while placing more emphasis on hop use on the hot side of the brew.
