Sakamichi Brewing is a Tachikawa-based craft brewery that also operates two taprooms: Sakamichi Taproom near the south exit of Tachikawa Station and Sakamichi North near the north exit. The brewery positions itself as Tachikawa's own craft brewery and has built its identity around serving its beers from both sides of the station.

On July 24, both venues started pouring two new releases. Mrs. Bones is a milk stout flavored with raspberry and vanilla, while Praxis is a new modern IPA with a tropical-fruit-driven profile. Together, the beers offer a clear contrast: one leans toward dessert-like richness, while the other focuses on hop aroma and a brighter fruit expression.

- Mrs. Bones: a raspberry-and-vanilla milk stout
- Praxis: a tropical-fruit-forward modern IPA

For local drinkers, the simultaneous taproom release is practical as well as appealing. Whether you head to the south side or the north side of Tachikawa Station, the same new beers are available. It is another release that reflects Sakamichi Brewing's balance of approachable styles and more contemporary, hop-forward brewing.
