Y.Y.G. will begin handing over its 10th-anniversary imperial stout on Friday, Aug. 28. To mark the release, the former second head brewer is scheduled to visit around 7 p.m., alongside guest taps from the brewery's lineage.
Y.Y.G. BREWING COMPANY announced on Aug. 27 that handoff of its 10th-anniversary imperial stout will begin on Friday, Aug. 28. To mark the release, former second head brewer @brewdad_ye, now active at August Beer, is scheduled to visit around 7 p.m.
The post also says current head brewer @yuy_uen will be working in Yoyogi, and invites visitors to ask anything about the beer. The anniversary design was created by @soyaosaki.
In addition, one beer each from former brewers will be on tap, with selections from @dd4d_official, @augustbeer_japan, and @charles_brewing. For beer fans, the draw is not only the stout itself but also the chance to taste the brewery's history in one place.
Y.Y.G. also operates Y.Y.G. FACTORY in Chiba City's Chuo Ward, a beer-canning factory and brewpub where beer is brewed on site. The anniversary event highlights how the brand connects its different locations and brewers.
