Y.Y.G. Factory, the brewery-restaurant in Chiba City, has shared an update on its 10th-anniversary stout. According to the post, an imperial stout brewed on April 5 with brewers from across the brewery's history has been completed, and pickups will begin on Aug. 28.

Guests are asked to bring their anniversary ticket when collecting the beer. The main draw is a side-by-side tasting of the barrel-aged version and the regular version, offering a chance to compare how the beer changes with maturation.

From the same day, the beer will also be available at the Yoyogi first-floor tap. That tap will pour the regular version only, but it gives more people a chance to try the anniversary release. The brewery also says beers from its brewers, past and present, are planned for tap as well.

Known for combining fresh house-brewed beer with food service, Y.Y.G. Factory marks its 10th anniversary with a beer that reflects the brewery's history. For fans of dark beer, this is a release worth noting.
