New Taps
At vivo! BEER + DININGBAR, a tucked-away craft beer pub near Ikebukuro East Exit, the day’s fresh arrivals are Inkhorn Brewing’s Lapwing#2 and U.B.P Brewery’s 彩白~IROHA~. The bar carries 20 draft lines, so the new releases sit alongside a broad range of styles, and Monday service begins at 4:00 p.m.
Lapwing#2 is described as a hazy double IPA with juicy fruit character, bringing notes reminiscent of yellow peach, grapefruit, white grape, and guava. It sounds like the kind of beer that rewards a slow first sip and keeps opening up as the aroma warms in the glass.
彩白~IROHA~ is a Belgian witbier with coriander seed spice and a bright orange peel aroma. Its profile is light, fresh, and gentle on the palate, making it an easy beer to pair with food.
The tap list also includes Inkhorn Brewing’s Java Finch 2026#2, Be Easy Brewing’s 東北6Hop, Shiga Kogen Beer’s Italian Sttle Pils, Mojiko Retro Beer’s Weizen, KaruizawaQ’s きざし, Ushitora Brewery’s いちご王国, Devilcraft’s Deep Red Groove, Brasserie Dieu DuCiel!’s ヴォヤージュ デ ブリュム, Minoh Beer Stout, TOKYO ALE WORKS’ Remouse Blended B.A.Imperial Stout~Special ver., Draft Guinness, and Kirin Heartland. In short, the lineup ranges from crisp and hop-forward to dark and full-bodied.
With house-made duck ham, potato salad, cold omelet, pasta, and sherry-braised pork shoulder on the menu, this is the kind of Ikebukuro stop that works as both a beer bar and a dining room.
