Taki〜AKANE〜JapaneseBeer&SakeDining, located on the fourth floor of a building on Dogenzaka, just a one-minute walk from Shibuya Station, is announcing its operating details for Sunday, April 13.

On this day, doors open at 5 p.m. and close at midnight. For the first two hours after opening, drinks will be 100 yen off as part of "Akane's Happy Time." The shop has 14 seats and a calm, mostly counter-style layout. Its signature is the chance to enjoy craft beer and sake selected by the owner from travels around Japan, along with the stories behind the drinks.

Today's Draft Lineup

- Locovia Naritakaido 298 (Session IPA)
- Minoh Beer Weizen
- Hitachino Nest Beer Daidai Ale (IPA)

All three are beers with clear aromas and flavors, making this a lineup that is easy to build into a drinking progression from the first glass to the next. The lightness of the Session IPA, the soft wheat character of the Weizen, and the citrus-and-bitterness balance of the Daidai Ale each have distinct directions, which is part of what makes the selection interesting.

On the food side, Oyama chicken bone-in thigh, Eisbein style has already been prepared. Because it is available in limited quantities, arriving early is recommended. It is a good match for anyone who wants to pair craft beer with meat dishes while enjoying a glass.

Since AKANE is a shop that champions "Japanese liquor" and "appetizers that make the drinks go down easier," visitors can enjoy it not only for beer but also with sake and fish-based small plates in mind. It is the kind of place that suits a slow evening in Dogenzaka, savoring a rotating tap list and a single dish.
