For Rokobia, you should hear about the brewer first. Momoyo Kagiya is a female brewer who jumped into the world of beer brewing at 21.

She originally joined Sakura City's liquor shop "Shimouru" as an office clerk, selling cosmetics and accessories. Then the president offered her the chance to run a brewery with the concept of "beer made by a female brewer for women."

Actually, she reportedly didn't like beer at the time. But she decided, "If I ever come to love beer, I don't want to regret not having done it then," and started brewing in 1998. At first they sourced concentrated wort, and the next year they revamped the equipment to handle the entire process in-house.

In 2012, she became independent and established Locobia LLC. And they've won multiple medals at the World Beer Cup, too. Their skill is world-class.

Their staples are "Sakura Steam" and "Sakura Aroma Draft." Sakura Steam is a classic American ale with a malty body and a solid hop presence. Sakura Aroma Draft is a Kölsch-style beer that is fruity and refreshing. They also make "Inba" and "Super Saison."

They also make fruit beers using blueberries and blackberries from Sakura City, and beer made with barley from a local farm called Tani Farm. They also keep donating to Pink Boots Society, an organization that supports female brewers, which is another great thing because they're trying to uplift the whole industry.
