From Yonabaru to Saitama
Agarihama Brewery, based in Yonabaru Town, Okinawa, has announced that it will exhibit at the 2026 Keyaki Hiroba Spring Beer Festival. The venue is Keyaki Hiroba in Saitama Shintoshin, and the event will run for five days from May 13 to 17. Booth number 19 will take part with the bright presence you would expect from an Okinawan brewery.
Agarihama Brewery was launched in 2023 as Yonabaru Town's first craft beer brewery. Its taproom, located next to the brewery, serves beers with a focus on freshness right after brewing. Moving between its core lineup and limited releases, the brewery has expressed Okinawan ingredients and atmosphere through its beers. The taproom also offers brewery tours, making it easy for visitors to get a feel for the makers' philosophy on site.
At this Keyaki Hiroba event, OKINAWA Mango Ale will take center stage as the beer created for the venue. It is being introduced as an early release for spring Keyaki, and its signature is a tropical aroma reminiscent of perfectly ripe mango. In addition, the lineup includes beers with distinct personalities such as AGARIHAMA IPA, made with pineapple juice; SUNRISE PALE ALE, with a citrus character; and GAJUMARU WIPA, with a pronounced bitterness. While showcasing a broad range of beer styles, the brewery's direction of expressing the feel of tropical ingredients is also reflected directly in this event appearance.
The Keyaki Hiroba Beer Festival is known as a large-scale event that gathers breweries from across Japan. For Agarihama Brewery, coming all the way from Yonabaru in Okinawa, it looks set to be an opportunity to bring the flavors it has cultivated at home to beer fans outside the prefecture.
