Uchu Brewing announced the release of “Uchu IPA” in an Instagram post. The released visual prominently features the words “DDH IPA,” clearly conveying the beer’s presence as one of the brewery’s signature offerings.

Uchu IPA is also introduced on craft beer information sites as Uchu Brewing’s flagship beer, with the style listed as DDH IPA and the alcohol content at 7%. As a concept, it highlights the aroma and profound bitterness of the five-dimensional fruit “Uchu” that ripens in the galaxy, and the brewer’s notes use expressions that evoke fruitiness such as mandarin, pineapple, mango, and blueberry.

Uchu Brewing was founded in Yamanashi in 2018 and now has its headquarters and brewery in Hokuto, Yamanashi Prefecture. The brand also operates taprooms in Kobuchizawa, Yamanashi, and Toranomon, Tokyo, giving people places to experience the brand’s world firsthand.

Uchu IPA is one of the core beers in the company’s lineup. This release announcement is news that shows how the brewery’s space-themed beer making continues to evolve while staying centered on its standard lineup. Rather than flashy theatrics, the main point of interest is whether a beer that is unmistakably “Uchu Brewing” comes through clearly.
