At the beer pub KEG-NAGOYA in Nagoya's Sakae district, the domestic rum "Aohara" (WHITE RHUM and SPICED RHUM) is being featured. The bar also has 12 beers and one real ale on tap, making it an easy place to use from daytime drinking to after-parties.
At the beer pub "KEG-NAGOYA" in the Sakae and Hisaya-odori area of Nagoya, a new domestic rum arrival is being introduced. The post highlights "Aohara" WHITE RHUM and SPICED RHUM, made by Tenjinmura Brewery in Ehime. SPICED RHUM is described as having spice notes plus a toasty character using ingredients unique to Japan, and it is a bottle you may also want to enjoy on the rocks.
The beer lineup is also substantial, with 12 taps and one real ale on this day. In classic beer-pub fashion, it is set up so you can easily pair beer tasting with a meal. Open from 17:00 to 23:00, it was also presented as a place where you can start with spirits or whiskey while still making beer the main attraction.
The main beers for the day were as follows.
- Son of the Smith "Vivid Hop Shipper"
- Outsider Brewing "Helles Bells"
- Minoh Beer "Weizen"
- Ise Kadoya Beer "Yuzu Aroma Ale"
- Hansharo Beer "Japanese Pear Saison"
- Brimmer Brewing "Pale Ale"
- Sankt Gallen "Apple Cinnamon Ale"
- Open Air "Float On"
- Y.Market Brewing "Neo Classica"
- Ise Kadoya Beer "Rokkaku Hazy IPB"
- Sankt Gallen "El Diablo - 5 Years Aged -"
- Outsider Brewing "The Sis Imperial Stout"
- Real Ale: Shiga Kogen Beer "Porter"
If you are pairing with food, the setup also makes it easy to move from citrusy ales and saisons or hop-forward IPAs to stouts and porters at the end. It was a post worth checking out as a place near Sakae Station where you can enjoy a calm drink centered on craft beer.
