KAWASAKI Craft Beer Stand highlights 16 taps centered on Tokaido BEER
KAWASAKI Craft Beer Stand by Tokaido Beer at Kawasaki Azalea released its tap list for May 25. Centered on Tokaido BEER's own labels, it also lines up a pour from an outside brewery, making it an easy stop with food welcome from outside.
KAWASAKI Craft Beer Stand by Tokaido Beer, located in Azalea 1046, the underground shopping area beneath Kawasaki Station, announced its lineup as of 5:10 p.m. on May 25. This standing bar is just a three-minute walk from the station, and its appeal is that it works well for a quick drink while shopping or before going out for drinks.
That day, Tokaido BEER's own labels were firmly on tap, including `1623`, `Black Shikan`, `FRO AGARI YELL`, `Mugi no Deai`, `Guava`, `Tamakujaku`, `Yoi no Iro`, and `UTAMARO ALE`. The collaboration slot also included `Mugi Bar 2nd Anniversary Kinako-Colored Fluffy Hazy`, giving the tap lineup a clear sense of the shop's personality.
The outside brewery selections are also strong, with `Novoru` (Novoru Brewing), `Avalanche` (HAKUBACRAFT), `TeardropAmber` (TKBREWING), `Kishimen da mon de` (OZONE BEER), `1926` (KUNITACHI BREWERY), `Pub Crawl IPA` (Yokohama Beer), and `Mikazekaze WHEAT` (ISHINOMAKI HOP WORKS) on offer. The range spans classic styles, fruity IPAs, and wheat beers, making comparison tasting part of the fun.
In the post, `Kishimen da mon de` was introduced as today's recommendation, described as an American Wheat with lightness, plus the refreshing aroma and tartness of sudachi. Food can be brought in, so you can pair the beer with snacks bought nearby. Bringing out trash must be taken home, according to the shop's guidance.
The post also previewed `HOKKAIDO CRAFT FES` on June 13, showing that this underground corner of Kawasaki is becoming a base for following the craft beer scene.
