WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE in Inage-Kaigan has tapped West Coast Brewing’s Mosaic Mainline. The bar’s lineup also features nine draft beers, and it is promoting a joint BBQ event on October 12.
WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE, a craft beer specialist in Inage-Kaigan, has tapped West Coast Brewing’s Mosaic Mainline. This is the fourth release of the single-hop West Coast IPA, built with Mosaic from boil to dry hop. The beer is described as bringing citrus notes reminiscent of orange and grapefruit, plus berry and Concord grape character, followed by a dank, woody finish.
The bar also holds a liquor retail license, so customers can take home craft beer in bottles and cans as well as drink on site. That makes it useful both for a quick pint after work and for picking up beer to enjoy later at home. Its station-area location also makes it an easy stop even on a rainy day.
On tap that day were nine beers in total: Guinness, KIRIN HEARTLAND, Hoegaarden White, Firestone Walker Anniversary Ale XXX, Slope Juice Bomb Hazy IPA, Night Shift Double Parked DIPA, FARMENTRY Daily Loop, and Coronado Big Weekend DIPA, alongside the newly opened Mosaic Mainline. The range covers stout, white ale, West Coast IPA, hazy IPA, double IPA, and saison, offering plenty of variety for drinkers who like to compare styles.
The shop also announced its annual joint BBQ event, MIHAMA BBQ, scheduled for October 12. Hosted together with MIHAMA BASE BEER STAND MAKUHARI, it has become a recurring gathering point for regulars and a place where beer drinkers from Inage-Kaigan and Makuhari can connect. That community feel is part of what makes MIHAMA BASE more than just a place to drink beer.
