Dawn Brews completes its fourth white beer inspired by mascot dog "Kuu-kun"
Dawn Brews in Kiyosumi, Koto Ward, Tokyo, announced on Instagram that it has completed "Beagle," the fourth beer in its Grrr Brewing series. The white beer is modeled after "Kuu-kun," the mascot dog of Marshmallow, a shop in Odawara, and is expected to start being served from around next week.
Fourth release is the mascot-dog-inspired "Beagle"
On April 26, Dawn Brews, based in Kiyosumi, Tokyo's Koto Ward, announced on Instagram that its fourth Grrr Brewing beer, "Beagle," has been completed. This latest creation is said to be modeled after "Kuu-kun," the mascot dog of "Marshmallow," a hamburger and craft beer shop in Odawara.
For this batch, the beer was crafted as a white beer with plenty of lemon, centered on an image evoking Kuu-kun's lemon-and-white appearance. The post described it as a lively beer designed to be easy to drink after a walk, and introduced it as a beer well suited to the coming season.
Service is scheduled to begin "around next week," and it is expected to be available in stages at CLANN BY THE RIVER, Dawn Brews' base of operations. CLANN BY THE RIVER is a facility on the waterfront in Kiyosumi Shirakawa, known as a place where food and craft beer can be naturally combined. This new release also seems like a beer that fits well with the local atmosphere of the venue.
Grrr Brewing has now reached its fourth release as a series developed by Dawn Brews. Its choice of motifs and naming have a distinct personality, and this "Beagle" is another new release that draws attention not only for its flavor but also for its background. Since it is a beer themed around a dog, it is likely to attract not only beer fans but also people who follow limited-edition items with character.
