14 Taps Updated at Bakushuya Pogojiro, Featuring a Diverse Lineup Including REVISION and Shiga Kogen
The tap list at the beer pub Bakushuya Pogojiro in Osaka's Tanimachi area has been updated. Fourteen domestic and international beers are on the board, including REVISION, Minoh Beer, Kyoto Brewing, and Shiga Kogen Beer. A limited-time Hong Kong curry yakisoba is also being featured.
Bakushuya Pogojiro, the beer pub in Andoji-cho, Chuo Ward, Osaka, has sent out today’s beer list. The post announced an 6:00 p.m. opening and revealed a lineup of 14 taps. Centered on IPAs, the selection spans a wide range, including lagers and even a NITRO ver.
The highlight this time is the way domestic and overseas breweries are naturally mixed together. Titles with distinct personalities follow one after another, such as REVISION’s “DISCO NINJA,” Minoh Beer x Mikkeller Tokyo’s “UME-CHU,” Kyoto Brewing’s “The Disappeared Blanket,” and Y.MARKET BREWING’s “Minamichita Blood Orange IPA.” Also on the list are Shiga Kogen Beer’s “SNOW MONKEY IPA Silver Label ver.,” Oni Densetsu’s “NEW Maki Oni IPA” and “Shin Asao Oni IPA,” Brasserie Knot’s “MITSU,” FARMENTRY’s “NICO,” and Trademark Brewing’s “CODEBREAKER,” making this a lineup that really invites comparison tasting.
The beer list is as follows.
- DISCO NINJA / REVISION
- UME-CHU / Minoh Beer x Mikkeller Tokyo
- The Disappeared Blanket / Kyoto Brewing
- Minamichita Blood Orange IPA / Y.MARKET BREWING
- SNOW MONKEY IPA Silver Label ver. / Shiga Kogen Beer
- CAMA x NAMA NEW WORLD IPA / NAMACHA N Brewing
- NEW Maki Oni IPA / Oni Densetsu
- MITSU / Brasserie Knot
- MIXED MEDIA / PAINT PALETTE BREWING
- NICO / FARMENTRY
- CODEBREAKER / Trademark Brewing
- Shin Asao Oni IPA / Oni Densetsu
- Spring Lager / Minoh Beer
- Kind of Gold NITRO ver / DOGFISH HEAD x OXBOW x SHIGA KOGEN
On the food side, the limited-edition “Hong Kong Curry Yakisoba” is also available. It is described as a dish that moves from a sweet curry flavor toward spiciness, and it seems well suited as a companion to craft beer. The post also mentions weekday-only “Pogojiro Set,” Tuesday “Menjiro,” and hot pot courses as well as all-you-can-drink course options, showing that this is a beer pub that works equally well for everyday visits and group use.
It is a place worth stopping by on a day when you want to compare IPAs in earnest in the Tanimachi area, or when you want to enjoy craft beer with a meal.
