Two New Taps Opened in Makuhari

The craft beer specialty shop WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE (Mihama Base) Makuhari, located in Takasu, Mihama Ward, Chiba City, announced two newly tapped kegs in its March 31 update. In addition to enjoying a drink inside the shop, it is also convenient because it supports craft beer takeaway.

New Taps

- Ise Kadoya Beer Imperial Red Ale
- The style is Double Red Ale, ABV 7.0%, IBU 50.
- It has a copper-red appearance and aromas reminiscent of citrus and grapes. With a solid body and bitterness, it balances classic American hop character with easy drinkability for the modern palate.

- Belching Beaver Phantom Bride IPA
- The style is IPA, ABV 7.1%, IBU 60.
- Known for its collaboration with Deftones, this beer uses Amarillo, Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic. Its mild, smooth mouthfeel layers hop bitterness and malt sweetness, finishing dry.

Draft Lineup for the Day

In addition to the two newly tapped kegs, the draft lineup for the day also included HEARTLAND, West Coast Brewing The Technician, Karl Strauss Mosaic Session IPA, Los Angels Ale Works Quietly Judging, West Coast Brewing Hop Fua, and Deschutes Hop Krush Hazy IPA, offering a setup where a wide range of styles could be compared side by side.

MIHAMA BASE is an easy place to stop by for anyone looking for craft beer in the Makuhari area. Whether you want firm bitterness and aroma or prefer something chosen for its drinkability, this time the shop offered two kegs with very different directions to choose from.
