On March 29 at WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE (Mihama Base, Mihama Ward, Chiba City, Inage Kaigan), three new kegs were tapped. While thanking guests who visited the day before, the bar strengthened its draft lineup with a focus on IPAs on a Sunday that was even more of a beer day than yesterday.

The featured new taps were Los Angels Ale Works / Full Thrust Double IPA, STONE / Hazy IPA, and Sierra Nevada / Springfest IPA. All three are satisfying IPA-style beers, but each has its own character: one delivers a refreshing dankness from Mosaic hops, another is a hazy that's easy to drink with restrained turbidity, and another is a vivid IPA that feels like a celebration of spring's arrival. It's a lineup that makes it easy to choose based on your mood.

MIHAMA BASE is known as a craft beer specialty shop in Inage Kaigan, and it also offers bottle and can takeout. It's a convenient stop after watching baseball, enjoying cherry blossoms, or even for a pre-drink before a night out. Hours are from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., making it a good place to take your time and enjoy draft beer after work.

The tap list that day also included staples like GUINNESS, KIRIN HEARTLAND, and Hoegaarden White, along with West Coast Brewing / Full Hop Alchemist r7, Paperback / Tucked in by Strangers, and Deschutes / Hop Krush Hazy IPA, offering a chance to check out a wide range of styles all at once. With hazy beers, West Coast styles, and classic pilsners and wheat beers all available, each person in a group could probably find a beer they like.

Under spring-like weather, MIHAMA BASE lined up kegs with different drinking profiles while centering on IPAs. It's a bar that's a good fit for days when you want to check out what's current on draft in Inage Kaigan.
