The flavor design leans into lively citrus aromas reminiscent of lime and grapefruit, layered with tropical character. Rice helps keep the body light and dry, while leaving a pleasant bitterness in the finish. Rather than aiming for intensity alone, the recipe follows the balance expected from a drinkable Session IPA.

Flora Fermentation describes itself as a brewery telling a story of "agriculture and fermentation" through the work of three brewers. Based in Higashiomi, Shiga, the brewery emphasizes ingredients, fields, and a sense of narrative in its beers. In that context, Decacorn Tawaki fits as a milestone collaboration that combines a celebratory occasion with the brewery's own ingredient-driven approach.
