The beer pub Craft Beer Spot Hathor in Kyobashi, Osaka, updated its draft beer information for May 11. With 16 taps and house-made smoked items to enjoy, the lineup spans a wide range of styles, from sour IPA to classic lager, fruit-forward IPA, and dark beer.

Today's New Pour

The beer being tapped is Ise Kadoya Beer’s Electro Squash Sour IPA. With a hazy pale-yellow appearance, it layers aromas reminiscent of passion fruit, peach, mango, and guava, and is a pour that puts its lactic-acid-driven sharp acidity and fruitiness front and center. At 6.5%, it finishes refreshingly and is easy to keep drinking.

Today's Recommendations

The recommended beers are Pilsner / Trillium and Disco Ninja IPA / Revision. Trillium’s Pilsner centers on Bohemian floor-malted pilsner malt, with Hallertau Magnum and Saaz in a classic formulation, featuring a straw-colored appearance and a crisp mouthfeel. The Disco Ninja IPA, meanwhile, is marked by juicy aromas from Citra, Galaxy, Mosaic, and Amarillo, along with gentle malt sweetness and a dry finish.

Other Taps

The day's lineup also includes Yebisu, Tiffina / Nara Brewing x Vertere, Memory Bouquet / Ise Kadoya Beer, Red Ale Real Ale ver / Iwate Kura Beer, Minamichita Blood Orange IPA / Y Market Brewing, Raspberry Pink / Iwate Kura Beer, Bluebird IPA / Minoh Beer x Inkhorn, Sansho W-IPA / Minoh Beer, and Enmusubi Beer Stout Real Ale ver / Beer Hearn.

From fruit-forward IPAs to lagers with a clean malt profile, aromatic fruit beers, and dark beers best enjoyed slowly, the lineup makes it easy to choose according to your taste. It is a draft selection that feels quintessentially Hathor, offering something for everyone from the first pint to the last in Kyobashi.
