Eni-Bru taps Minoh Beer Summer Lager and announces Sept. 6 tap jack
Osaka beer pub Eni-Bru posted four new draft beers, led by Minoh Beer’s Summer Lager, and announced a Sept. 6 Double Tap Jack with SHIMANAMI Brewery and Kankiku Brewery.
In its August 22 Instagram post, Eni-Bru said the summer heat kept the beer moving fast and that four fresh kegs had gone on tap. The headline beer is Minoh Beer’s Summer Lager, described as a hoppy lager with bright citrus aroma from American hops such as Citra and Cascade, plus a crisp finish from rice.
The new draft lineup also includes English Gold Summer Real Ale ver. from Hansharo Beer, open air ipa from Open Air, and CHAIN SMOKER from HINO BREWING. The selection ranges from lager to real ale and IPA, giving drinkers several styles to choose from.
On the food side, the pub recommends a fritter filled with homemade salsiccia and sweet peppers. The herb aroma, rich meat juices, and tomato sauce make it a natural match for hop-forward beers and dry lagers alike. Eni-Bru also announced a special event for September 6: "Double Tap Jack at eni-bru SiblingShowdown!" featuring SHIMANAMI Brewery and Kankiku Brewery. The event runs from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with open entry, free movement in and out, 21 beers in total across draft and cans, a talk live session, and a raffle.
