TBE Brewing Updates Its KEG Lineup in Ebisu, Centered on Domestic Breweries
The beer pub TBE Brewing in Ebisu-minami announced its KEG lineup for May 30. It has newly connected Oroi Brewing's "Seki," and taps from domestic breweries such as Koshien Outfield, Hino Brewing, Nomcraft, and Shiga Kogen Beer are broadly represented.
At TBE Brewing, the beer pub on the second floor of the Shinbori Guitar Building in Ebisu-minami 2-chome, the KEG lineup for May 30 has been announced. The current selection, centered on domestic breweries, ranges from West Coast IPA to hazy, sour, and light specialty beers, with clearly distinct character across the lineup.
This time's highlight is Kagawa's Oroi Brewing / Seki. In the shop's description, it is introduced as a West Coast IPA that expresses the strength of bonsai, pine-like flavor, a fresh-green herbal brightness, and vivid citrus character. For those who want to enjoy the outline of hops, this is the first beer to try.
Other current taps include Koshien Outfield / Double Steel, Hino Brewing / Zutto Yare IPA, Nomcraft / 7th Anniversary Sour IPA, Open Air / Clear Waves, Re:Cli Brewing / Wallflower, Hop Kotan Brewing / Misty Way, Black Tide / #490 Hazy Wave Ver.1.0, Paint Palette / Under the Sun, and Shiga Kogen Beer / Sono Ju No.10 IPA. Some labels are running low, so if you have one in mind, it seems best to visit soon.
Also announced as upcoming taps are Hino Brewing / Yare Yare Ale, Yorocco Beer / Skywalker IPA, Koshien Outfield / 643 (Rokuyonsan), Nomcraft / 7th Anniversary West Coast IPA, and Kunitachi Brewery / Base on Top. Following the lineup changes is part of the fun, and that feels very much like this place.
Food includes sashimi of natural Indian tuna, assorted grilled sausages, tender beef tendon simmered with sansho pepper, a platter of homemade Japanese obanzai side dishes, two kinds of fried tofu topped with scallions and grilled, simmered Hokkaido isotsubu shellfish, and peperoncino pasta with shrimp and fresh tomato. While beer is the main attraction, the snacks are solid too, making this a place suited to a relaxed drinking session in Ebisu.
