Craft Beer & Wine THE DODO HOUSE in Meguro is introducing two new taps.

The highlight is NOVORU’s Sour Time! Hyuganatsu ver., a hard seltzer fermented with beer yeast and finished with plenty of Hyuganatsu citrus juice from Miyazaki. It offers a gentle citrus aroma, refreshing acidity, restrained sweetness, and a clean finish. Light and crisp, it sits somewhere between beer and a sour-style drink.

Also newly available is Yamorido’s Makomako, an NZ Wheat IPA from Kyoto. Its fruity aroma suggests melon, orange, and pineapple, while a distinctly IPA-like bitterness is softened by the smooth texture of wheat malt. The beer is inspired by the bellbird native to New Zealand; Makomako is the bird’s Māori name.

The tap list also includes KaruizawaQ’s Tochu, open air’s blood orange gose, NAMACHAん’s Hiehie COLD IPA, AFURI BREWING’s DDH HAZY IPA 4.0, BREW CLASSIC’s Let’s La Fuel, and BrewBeast Brewery’s ESPRESSO STOUT. Styles range from fruited gose and Cold IPA to West Coast IPA and stout, offering plenty of variety for a tasting session. The blood orange gose is noted as nearly sold out.

Located in Meguro’s Shimomeguro district, THE DODO HOUSE is a beer pub specializing in craft beer and wine. Its rotating taps make it a natural stop for after-work drinks or for anyone looking to compare different beer styles. Service begins at 5 p.m.
