To coincide with the Meiji Yasuda J2/J3 100-Year Vision League Round 12 match against Montedio Yamagata, which kicks off at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, Great Dane Brewing will set up a booth at the stadium. ROSÉ IPA is a beer that makes a limited-edition comeback after being popular in stores last year. Created in collaboration with a female brewer from Great Dane USA, it uses Nelson Sauvin hops from New Zealand to give off aromas reminiscent of strawberries and grapes, while hibiscus tea as a secondary ingredient creates a rosé-wine-like color and flavor. It has an alcohol content of 5% and is characterized by a dry, refreshing finish.
Great Dane Brewing is a brewery founded in 1994 in Madison, Wisconsin, in the United States, and opened a brewery in the Akiu area of Taihaku Ward, Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, in January 2024. At the adjoining restaurant, guests can enjoy freshly brewed beer from up to 16 taps. The company’s locally rooted base seems likely to offer a chance to enjoy its limited beers alongside watching the match.
