This is the guest beer update for April 13 from HOP MAN, the beer pub on the second floor in Jukkemban, Chigasaki City. Newly introduced this time are two beers: Ushitora’s `#971 Raichingale` and Y.MARKET BREWING’s `Decorian`. True to the bar’s daily tap updates and broad keg lineup, this month’s selection offers a very wide spread of flavors.

`#971 Raichingale` is a lychee white ale with 5.5% ABV. Wheat and oat give it a fuller mouthfeel, while the finished beer brings together lychee aroma and flavor with a gentle acidity. CRYOPOP hops are used to push the fruitiness even further.

`Decorian`, on the other hand, is a fruit Belgian black beer made with the peel of Shiranui (Dekopon) and coriander. Built on a dark-beer base, it aims for citrus nuance, roasted character, and an impression reminiscent of orangette. It has an ABV of 7.0%. The highlight this time is being able to enjoy a crisp, pale-style beer alongside a richly aromatic dark one.

On the day’s `ON TAP TODAY` list, beers such as `Zwickle Pils`, `12 DA CAPO`, `FLOWER`, `Baby Blonde Miyama`, `PSYCHEDELICROCK KRIEK`, `HEARTS UP! IPA 60 / Hazy IPA`, and `UNDERWATER` were also on tap, covering everything from lager to hazy, fruit, and black styles. The photos also feature `Lamb Cutlet with Sweet Chili Mayo Sauce`, showing that HOP MAN has food designed to pair with beer.

The in-store notice also announced the `3rd Chigasaki Jukkemban Beer Fest` from April 17 to 19, with a planned closure from April 20 to 23. Tap changes are happening ahead of the event, making this one to keep in mind if you’re drinking craft beer in Chigasaki.
