HOP MAN, a beer pub in Chigasaki, Kanagawa, has announced the new opening of Devilcraft Brewing’s Westerly.

Westerly is a West Coast Cold IPA with an ABV of 6.0%, 60 IBU and an SRM of 3. The beer combines the light, crisp character of a Cold IPA with the assertive hop profile associated with a West Coast IPA. The result is a hybrid IPA designed to remain refreshing while retaining plenty of flavor.

Pilsner malt forms the base, while six varieties of aroma hops contribute to the beer’s character. The brewery’s description highlights aromas and flavors reminiscent of fresh berries, citrus peel and apricot, followed by a subtle pine note. Despite its firm bitterness, the beer is presented as light-bodied and highly drinkable.

Westerly was also introduced as a bronze medal winner at Japan BrewersCup 2026, making this tap an opportunity to explore an award-winning beer from Devilcraft Brewing.

HOP MAN is located on the second floor of Sunrize Shonan in Chigasaki’s Jukkenzaka area. Visitors can enjoy Westerly alongside the pub’s rotating craft beer selection. Availability may change, so checking with the venue before visiting is recommended.
