Hiroshima Noh Brewery in Miyoshi, Hiroshima, has introduced a craft beer made with imperfect fruit.

In the post, several bottles are shown packed in ice alongside the message “Everything in the ice comes from the fields.” The presentation highlights the use of fruit that may be difficult to distribute through regular channels because of its shape or size. The brewery has not disclosed the product name, release date, or detailed tasting information in the post.

Hiroshima Noh Brewery is operated by an agricultural corporation in Kisa, Miyoshi. The brewery also runs its own farm and handles the process from growing ingredients such as hops through brewing and bottling. Its official concept, “Agriculture continues until brewing,” reflects its focus on bringing the flavors of Hiroshima’s fields into the bottle.

Kisa is a basin crossed by three major rivers, with frequent fog and significant differences between daytime and nighttime temperatures. According to the brewery, these conditions help increase the sweetness of local fruits and vegetables, supporting beer that expresses the character of the area.

The brewery’s regional approach has also received recognition. HASSAKU SAISON won a gold award at the Japan Great Beer Awards 2025, while Hazy Pione and Shine Muscat Ale each received bronze awards in 2026. The imperfect-fruit beer represents another link between local agriculture and brewing. Further details about the fruit used, flavor profile, and availability will depend on future announcements from the brewery.
