Hiroshima Noh Brewery Showcases a Seasonal Beer Route Combining Art and Local Flavors in Miyoshi
Hiroshima Noh Brewery has highlighted an autumn itinerary in Miyoshi that combines the Kimura Noritake exhibition at the Okuda Genso・Sayume Museum of Art with a visit to nearby Torretta Miyoshi. Visitors can browse local produce and pick up a selection of the brewery’s distinctive craft beers.
An autumn stop after viewing art
Hiroshima Noh Brewery is encouraging visitors to combine the ongoing “Noritake Kinoshita Exhibition” at the Okuda Genso・Sayume Museum of Art in Miyoshi with a stop at Torretta Miyoshi, located directly in front of the museum. The route offers a compact way to enjoy art, seasonal produce, and locally made beer in one visit.
Torretta Miyoshi features seasonal fruits, fresh local vegetables, and carefully selected agricultural products. Its craft beer corner carries a special lineup from HIROSHIMA NOH BREWERY, showcasing the appeal of Miyoshi’s farm products. The brewery’s post introduces Mikan Ale, a limited beer with a refreshing aroma and gentle sweetness; Jibie Lager, described as a clean lager with a softly fragrant profile; Caramel Honey Stout, a rich beer suited to lingering autumn evenings; and Hassaku Saison, which won a gold medal at the Japan Great Beer Awards 2025.
Brewing as an extension of farming
Based in Kisa-cho, Miyoshi City, Hiroshima Noh Brewery operates as both a farm and a brewery. The team grows ingredients including its own hops and handles the process from cultivation through brewing and bottling. The brewery describes Miyoshi as a basin crossed by three major rivers, where frequent mist and significant day-and-night temperature differences help increase the sweetness of local fruits and vegetables.
The brewery is run by a couple who previously worked as regional revitalization fellows, and their activities also include using local ingredients and creating new employment opportunities. After taking in the exhibition, visitors can round out their day with a beer that reflects the farms, climate, and brewing culture of northern Hiroshima.
