Sankt Gallen, based in Atsugi, Kanagawa Prefecture, will exhibit at the “Keyaki Hiroba Spring Beer Festival 2026,” held from May 13 to 17. At the booth, visitors can enjoy eight beers in total, including two Keyaki-exclusive brews, along with food made with local ingredients.
Sankt Gallen will exhibit at the “Keyaki Hiroba Spring Beer Festival 2026” in Saitama Shintoshin from Wednesday, May 13, 2026, to Sunday, May 17, 2026. The venue is Keyaki Hiroba in Saitama Shintoshin and Saitama Super Arena. Breweries from Hokkaido to Okinawa, numbering more than 52, will gather, with more than 300 kinds of beer on offer, making it one of Japan’s largest craft beer events.
The company’s booth is No. 50. This time, it will offer eight beers in total, including two limited brews created for the Keyaki festival. The limited beers are a HAZY IPA and a stout, both showcasing the hop “Green Bullet.” The HAZY IPA is characterized by a citrus-like, juicy aroma, while the stout’s hallmark is a sweet, berry-like flavor. In addition, the “Suika Wheat,” which is available only in limited draft quantities, will also be served.
The food lineup includes locally popular shirokoro horumon from Atsugi and large horse mackerel fry delivered directly from Odawara Fishing Port. It is designed to be enjoyed alongside the beer. The company’s president, Mr. Iwamoto, is also scheduled to serve at the booth on multiple days, offering visitors a chance to hear about the beers directly from the maker.
Sankt Gallen is a long-established brewery based in Atsugi, Kanagawa Prefecture. Known as the “original local beer shop,” it was brewing small-batch beer in the United States even before Japan lifted restrictions on local beer production, and it has earned a strong reputation for beers that make use of fruit and seasonal ingredients. In keeping with the company’s direct-run taproom, where a wide variety of draft beers can be enjoyed, this event is likely to showcase a broad range of expressions, from limited releases to seasonal pours.
