Limited Golden Week pricing runs through today, May 6

The microbrewery Izumo Brewing Company in Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture, is announcing that its limited-price canned beer sale, which has been running during Golden Week, will continue through today, May 6. In its official blog, the brewery says there were many purchases both in-store and online during the period, and expresses its gratitude to customers and users.

Canned beer is 900 yen each, or 2,500 yen for three

In this campaign, canned beer that normally costs 1,000 yen per can is being sold for a flat 900 yen. In addition, the three-can set is 2,500 yen, which is 200 yen off the usual price of 2,700 yen. The offer is geared toward people who want to try labels they are curious about or compare different beers side by side, and it is easy to use as a souvenir or for home consumption.

Available both in-store and online

Sales are being offered not only through the online shop (BASE), but also at the main shop and Taisha shop. The main shop is a five-minute walk from JR Izumo City Station, while the Taisha shop, located along the pilgrimage route to Izumo Taisha, is easy to stop by during sightseeing. Supporting both souvenir demand from tourists and everyday use by local residents from its Izumo base is also one of the brewery's defining features.

On its official website, Izumo Brewing Company is introduced as a brewery that takes on craft beer making in small batches with a wide variety of styles, guided by the motto of "From Izumo to the world." As Golden Week comes to a close, this is an easy opportunity to pick up a beer from Izumo.
