New release tapped on March 15 is a TDH West Coast IPA

According to an Instagram post from Kichi Brewing, the new tap release is the original beer “Innocence ~Adorably Animal~.” The style is TDH West Coast IPA, with specs of ABV 6.6% / IBU 50.

The post explains that it is a single-hop IPA made with New Zealand-grown Riwaka alone and dry-hopped three times. Its aroma leans tropical, evoking passion fruit, while the flavor brings citrus and lychee notes layered over a clean sweetness, finishing with bitterness in the latter half to tie the whole beer together.

A “come back for more” beer with downtown brewery charm

Kichi Brewing is a brewery that blends the local feel of Katsushika’s Horikiri-Shobuen with a spirit of craft-beer exploration. With each new tap release, it puts out beers with a distinct theme, and this one also spotlights hop character front and center.

With plenty of aroma but not too much weight, this beer aims for the easy-drinking character typical of a West Coast IPA. It’s a perfect chance for IPA fans to check out “what Kichi Brewing is like now.” This new release works just as well as your first beer of the weekend as it does for a relaxed, thoughtful second round.
