Limited Hazy IPA Born from Naming Rights

On April 10, North Island Beer began selling its limited-edition beer "Ginzy." The new release was named by a customer who won the beer naming rights at the brewery's 16th anniversary festival. It is a Hazy IPA with an alcohol content of 6%, and the hops used are Luminosa, Strata, and Simcoe.

North Island Beer started in Sapporo in 2003 and moved to Ebetsu in 2009. Today, based in Ebetsu, Hokkaido, the brewery offers seasonal and limited-batch beers in addition to its regular lineup. On its official website, it promotes the idea of "Beer is Art" and continues to make beer that values the brewer's sensibility and passion.

"Ginzy" can be seen as a beer that clearly reflects that approach. While centering on the hazy appearance and hop-driven aroma typical of a Hazy IPA, it also has the event appeal of a naming rights project, making it enjoyable even when considering the story behind its release. As a limited product, it has become news that lets fans follow both the flavor and the story.

True to North Island Beer's roots in Ebetsu, this release is not just a new product, but one that also evokes the brewery's history and its connection with the community.
