Two new IPA taps in Inage-Kaigan
WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE, a craft beer specialist in Takasu, Mihama Ward, Chiba, has added two beers to its draft lineup: Hop Fua from Shizuoka’s West Coast Brewing and IPA from Smog City in California.
Hop Fua is a 7.0% Hazy IPA built around Citra hops. Its aroma centers on grapefruit-like citrus and grassy hop notes, with softer impressions of pineapple, peach, mixed berries and fresh greens. A gentle hop bitterness develops on the finish, giving the beer a fragrant yet approachable character.
Smog City IPA is a 7.2% West Coast IPA. Tropical fruit and citrus notes meet floral aromatics and a subtle honey-like character. Toasted caramel malt adds depth, while resinous hop bitterness keeps the finish structured and balanced. It is a fitting choice for drinkers looking for a classic, food-friendly West Coast IPA.
A broad international draft selection
The venue’s rotating taps also include familiar favorites such as Guinness, Kirin Heartland and Hoegaarden White, alongside beers from Founders, Revision, Karl Strauss and Pizza Port.
