Two contrasting new draft beers

WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE, a craft beer-focused brewery and bar in Inagekaigan, Chiba, has opened two new kegs from NEKOBEER and West Coast Brewing.

The first is NEKOBEER’s “限界痛風ヒョウニキのゴゴッ!ゴゴッ!ゴッゴ!ゴールデンエール,” a 5.0% Dry-Hopped Golden Ale from Fukuoka. The beer uses New Zealand Pacifica hops on a popular Golden Ale base. Floral noble-hop aromas meet bright citrus notes, with a moderate bitterness that keeps the beer refreshing and food-friendly.

The second is West Coast Brewing’s “Freshly Squeezed,” an 8.0% Juicy Double IPA from Shizuoka. It leads with vivid citrus flavor and bright fruit aromas, followed by pineapple-like tropical notes. A grassy hop character remains present throughout, while a clean, citrus-peel bitterness adds structure to the beer’s substantial body.

A broad tap selection in Inagekaigan

The nine-beer lineup also includes GUINNESS, KIRIN HEARTLAND, Hoegaarden White, Coronado Big Weekend DIPA, Societe The Labyrinth, Karl Strauss Windansea Wheat, and Revision Planet Lovetron. Guests can compare lighter, food-friendly beers with hop-driven IPAs and stronger double IPAs in one visit.

Located in Takasu, Mihama-ku, WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE is open from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. and also offers bottled and canned beer for takeaway. It is a convenient stop for exploring the two new taps alongside a varied selection of craft beer.
