Fukui-based brewery Our Brewing has announced Brew Unity, a new Hazy Double IPA developed with the participation of its taproom staff. Built on a rich double-mashed base and generous use of liquid hops, the beer aims for a smooth, tropical and approachable drinking experience.

A tropical Hazy Double IPA
Brew Unity is a Hazy Double IPA designed to be both fruity and easy to drink. Our Brewing says it uses a rich base made through a double-mash process, along with a generous amount of liquid hops. Aromas reminiscent of pineapple and mango are balanced by a smooth mouthfeel, creating what the brewery describes as a hop-juice-like drinking experience.
The name Brew Unity reflects the team’s shared involvement from brewing through customer service. Kawashima, a member of the taproom staff, proposed the beer after considering the kinds of beers customers were looking for. Kawashima also joined the brewing process, helping the team bring the concept to life.
Fresh beer in front of Fukui Station
Our Brewing is a craft beer brand born in Fukui. Its brewery and taproom are located inside MINIE, a commercial complex in front of JR Fukui Station. The facility is equipped with a 1,000-liter brewing system and seven fermentation tanks, allowing visitors to enjoy fresh beer while watching the brewing area through glass.
The brewery has developed a broad range of styles, including pale ales, Cold IPAs and Hazy IPAs. Brew Unity adds a new dimension to that lineup by incorporating the viewpoint of staff who interact with beer drinkers every day.
