Sakamichi Brewing to Set Up at the "Mochimune Minato Beer Festival" on April 11 and 12
Sakamichi Brewing will set up a booth at the "Mochimune Minato Beer Festival," held on April 11 and 12 at the covered plaza on the west side of Mochimune Port in Shizuoka City. Six breweries from inside and outside the prefecture will gather, making it an event where visitors can enjoy seafood and craft beer unique to Mochimune, the town of shirasu.
Sakamichi Brewing, based in Tachikawa City, Tokyo, will take part in a two-day beer event held at Mochimune Port in Shizuoka City. The venue is the "Mochimune Minato Beer Festival." In a harbor-side setting, the event will feature food paired with craft beer and local ingredients, giving it a distinctly springlike feel.
Sakamichi Brewing is a brewery that handles both brewing and taproom operations in Tachikawa. On its official website, it emphasizes the brewing process while aiming to create a modern yet welcoming space. Another defining feature is its wide range of offerings, from familiar lagers and ales to distinctive contemporary styles.
In addition to Sakamichi Brewing, the event will feature AOI BREWING, FLORA FERMENTATION, Nara Brewing, Tokyo Aleworks, and West Coast Brewing. Visitors will be able to compare beers from each brewery, and food booths using local ingredients will also be available. As the event name suggests, the lineup is designed so guests can enjoy the port, shirasu, and beer together.
The event runs from 14:00 to 20:00 on April 11 and from 11:00 to 19:00 on April 12. Fireworks are also planned for April 11, and there will be additional attractions beyond beer, including a tuna-cutting show and hamayaki grilled seafood. Admission is free, making it easy for families and solo visitors alike to attend. For beer fans, these two days should be a chance to see what kind of pour the Tachikawa brewery will bring to the seaside in Mochimune.
