Beer Pub Yumeyomi in Kyoto’s Higashiyama district is now pouring KUMA from Falò Brewing on draft.

KUMA is a Honey Wheat/Picnic Beer brewed by Falò Brewing in Yamamoto, Miyagi. It has an ABV of 4.7% and 26 IBU. Rather than emphasizing intense bitterness, the beer is built around a mild sweetness from honey, a soft wheat texture, and a refreshing, approachable finish.

Falò Brewing developed KUMA in connection with Ohisama Farm in Yamamoto, using honey supplied by the farm. The beer was inspired by the relaxed atmosphere of a sunny farm surrounded by fruit trees, flowers, bees, and birds. Its concept is gentle and mild, while retaining a defined malt character.

Yumeyomi is a craft beer pub located on the second floor of Shimaya Building near Shijo and Yamato-Oji streets. The pub offers a setting where beer lovers can explore changing draft selections in the heart of Kyoto.

Those looking to discover a newer Japanese brewery may want to ask about KUMA during their visit. Draft availability can change, so checking with the pub before visiting is recommended.
